We left Ohio this morning and are in Houghton Lake, MI at the West Houghton Lake Campground. We did stop at Cabelas and the Russel Stover outlet in Dundee. We are about 100 miles south of the Mackinac Bridge. We may spend another night on the Southern Peninsula unless Alesa can build enough co

Yesterday we spent shopping for supplies for the continuing adventure and also bought a 32 in. LCD TV which just fits. It is a lot lighter than the old one, which we left at Bob's, and gets great reception over the air of regular, digital and HD signals. The Whippy Dip flavor changed to Black R

Erie is having a three day event on the bayshore aimed at the motorcycle crowd. It started with a ride, led by Peter Fonda, from the casino to Liberty Park. We went downtown early for a chance to walk around. We met the Selaney's (former neighbors) at Perry Square and caught up on old times.

Last Thursday, Alesa & Laura went shopping in Calais while I fished and fixed a fuel tank leak in Steve's truck. We also bought a trailer hitch so I could pull the boat for our trip to Crumple Island.
