Yesterday we had the base installed for the flagpole and today, after the cement has set, we now have a 20 foot flagpole at the corner of the house. Yesterday we took shoes and clothes over to Lake Hills School and last night was the Erie Club poker run and we had a crowd of 96 people.

It was 72 outside this morning but now it is 56 and it's been drizzling all day so we went shopping. We got a fan Alesa has been wanting and replaced the fan in the living room. I ordered a new 20 foot telescoping flagpole and it is scheduled to be installed on Thursday.

Been golfing a lot and our games are up and down but improving. Been installing light kits on the ceiling fans and rewiring to control from the wall switches. It provides a lot more light in a room versus a table or floor lamp.

Was supposed to rain all day today but it held off and started just as we were finishing the 9th hole of the new golf course.

It has been a little cool lately but not anything like up north. We've been golfing, but a couple of times Alesa stayed bundled up in the cart for the last few holes. Thursday night was Smith's Hot Dog night at the Erie Club meeting.

This morning we took a last walk on Delray Beach with the Schweds and headed home.

February 9, 2015

This morning we noticed a manatee towing something around and went downstairs to investigate and free him if necessary. It turned out to be a tracking buoy attached with a 10 foot lead strapped around his tail. No rescue necessary.
