Yesterday, our last day at Mike's, we took the girls to Weldon's Soda Fountain next to the Keswick Theater. It's an old fashioned soda fountain and the girls both got root beer floats, I got an egg crème and Alesa ordered a soda.
Trip Log
After a Harry Potter marathon with Annika on Sunday, I picked up Mike & Lisa at the train station. The girls had swimming practice this morning and after chores we played tennis with Lisa and the girls. Tonight they played Ticket to Ride.
Yesterday we visited with Art and Annie and then back to take Bob and Cathy to dinner at Valerios. Jeff and family left before 3 and are now safely home. Last night was my 50 year reunion for Cathedral Prep.
After I hooked TV-Ears up to Marilyn's new TV while the kids and Alesa went to the beach, Bob took a half day off and went golfing at Crabapple Ridge with Jeff, Bailey, Alesa and I. We played 9 as a fivesome and had a great time.
Yesterday Jeff, Bailey, Alesa and I golfed 18 at Lakeside; kind of a memorial Niebauer open. We walked and I won't be doing that again anytime soon. The Browns then hosted us all for a nice dinner and visit. Hopefully they will visit us in Florida so we can return the favor.
Today was Waldameer day. We all rode on the Ravine Flyer II and The Comet rollercoasters before leaving the kids to the rides and waterpark as we visited with the Maloneys at their cottage on Kelso Beach.
Had dinner with the Schweds on Friday and spent the night at Jeff's. Jeff and family and we left at 6AM and arrived at Bob's at noon.
At Mikes for Wednesday and Thursday and now back at Jeff's after a dinner and visit with the Schweds. We are leaving early in the morning for Erie.
Back to Jeff's on Sunday to play twilight golf at Chisel Creek with Jeff and Bailey and last night the whole gang went bowling. It was fun except for the fact that they didn't have a ball to fit me so I soldiered on but didn't score well.
Spent two nights with Jeff and family; played tennis and recovered from the trip. Friday we went to Mike's via Exton and shopping and also visited with Bob & Ann Goodman at Shannondell. They are pretty much settled in after selling the house and moving Ann over.
