We are camping at Frontier Town, a very nice and large campground a few miles south of Ocean City and right on the bay. It is very nice with an attached Old West theme park and water park. Plenty to do for the kiddies and the child in the adult. The season doesn't start until next weekend so

We caught the 10:30 ferry from Cedar Island to Ocracoke Island (2.5 hours), drove to the north end of the island and then caught the ferry to Hatteras Island (1 hour). We then set up at the Hatteras Sands Resort about a half mile from the ferry. We then drove up to Cape Hatteras for dinner and
We have reservation for the Cedar Island - Ocracoke ferry for Saturday morning so we wanted to get as close as we could. We drove by Camp Lejeune, Cape Fear and out on the peninsula to Cedar Island. We are staying in the Cedar Creek Campground and Marina in the town of Sea Level about 15 miles
