We set up in a KOA west of Omaha and drove to Jacob & Rebecca's house then brought Becca and little Jacob to the trailer. Then went back to their house when Jacob got home from work and had a great chili dinner.

Nebraska continues to be flat, full of corn but very nice. We followed I-80, the Platte River and the Overland trail to about 100 miles west of Omaha. Spoke with Becca (Niebauer) Wingebach this morning and will see her and the Jacobs tomorrow when we settle in the KOA in West Omaha. The Eagles

Geologically speaking, our world got very flat once we left the front range but it was a lot easier driving on flat, straight interstate 76. We settled into the Cabela's campground in Sidney, NE between the retail store and corporate headquarters.

Woke up to 33 degrees outside this morning and it felt good but we did use the fireplace during breakfast. After a hot shower we drove across more of Wyoming and then headed south to Craig and then east to Steamboat. The trip was much flatter than expected. There were antelope everywhere until

We left Wells early today because we were traveling so far and were going to lose an hour as we moved into mountain time. We traveled through the mountains of eastern Nevada and all of a sudden it opened up into the salt flats. The last time we passed through here with Mike & Jeff, there wa
