Our A/C was fixed on Wednesday under warranty. Eugene and Connie Fales drove a U-Haul from Atlanta on Thursday and spent the night here before their closing on Friday. They spent Friday night here and had help unloading the truck yesterday.
Trip Log
Back to our normal routines. Swimming Friday, golfing Saturday and wore ourselves out today playing pickleball with Craig and Janet. Having trouble with the A/C but can still start it up manually. Should be fixed tomorrow under warranty.
Left Jeff's at 8 on Monday morning and arrived home before 11 that night. Tuesday was an unpacking, shopping, cleaning, mowing and recovery day and so was half of Wednesday but we did play an hour of platform tennis and went to see Scooter at Lake Sumter Landing.
This evening after resting and shopping for the trip home we golfed 18 at Moccasin Run golf course. It is Jeff and Bailey's favorite course and we enjoyed the course even though we are not used to playing 18.
Left Mike's this morning after the girls went to their swim meet. Visited with Bob and Ann at Shannondell and saw the work on their new apartment and took a short walk. We then headed back to Mike's to pick up hot dogs and fish that we had forgotten in their freezer.
Spent the day removing the hedges from in front of Mike's porch. Totally removed the hedge from one side and made good progress on the biggest one on the other side. The work felt good after all the travelling and sitting.
We watched Mike play PlayStation Baseball while the girls were at swimming practice and Lisa went to work. He finished his first season as an Angel at 51-1 and is heading into the playoffs. Mike went to a meeting with an old boss and we headed out to visit the Schweds.
The girls had swimming practice this morning and have a meet tonight. After their practice we all went to Tyler state park and the girls hiked while Mike and I played Frisbee golf.
Drove back to Mike's after a stop to see Marilyn and a stop at Luchetti's pizza to try and retrieve Jeff's mail order pizza. I have never seen anyone who could lie so confidently about things he hasn't done or does not intend to do, so the saga continues.
Got up at 5 this morning and Steve and I met Ed Dawson at the Walnut Creek access area to head out on his boat fishing. It was a beautiful day on the lake and we trolled for walleye for about 4 hours. We caught 2 but was only legal by a half an inch so we released him.
