Alesa is still taking a weeklong course of antibiotics, one of which has some strong side effects. One of these is to 'weaken' your tendons so they recommend no strenuous activities. We golfed today buy no racket sports.
Trip Log
Think the hurricane is pretty much over for us as the wind is out of the northwest, the sun is out and the rain has stopped, although there may still be bands coming through but don't see any on the radar .
The doctor didn't order the CTscan until around 11 and they brought up the prep drink, They took Alesa down around 1 and it only took a few minutes, They didn't post the results until 4:30.
Alesa is doing well just very bored and walking the halls. They didn't drain the abscess this morning, electing to continue the IV antibiotics for another day and hoping the abscess 'subsides' enough for her to be released tomorrow.
Alesa wasn't feeling well late last week and on Saturday she started having abdominal cramps. They weren't better on Monday so she went to the doctor. She has had them a few times in the past but they subside.
Posting pictures of the new Explorer. Had a great facetime session with Mike and family last night and got caught up with all their activities, happenings and statuses. Can't believe Elyse is learning to drive and investigating colleges. Visited Craig and Janet yesterday after golf.
Was in Jacksonville today for Alesa's dragon boat races. It was a very hot day and it wasn't a good day for winning but they did race well.
Alesa made the paper again. She's in the front. She is wearing a neck brace because when she bends over and lifts her head for long periods her neck gets very sore. So, again, better safe than sorry.
Craig and Janet were coming up on Friday to play pickleball but there was too much rain. On Saturday we were able to get in a round of golf with Connie since we were rained out on Monday. Craig and Janet came up for Labor Day and we invited Connie to play pickleball with us as well.
Our first hurricane and it went north of us and made landfall last night but it did spawn a tornado about 20 miles south of us. Little effect until the bands of rain hit us today. Not bad but very interesting.
