to private citizen tRump and take your high level support of fascism with you. What is that between your legs? Oh, it’s your tail. You say you will be back? I am sure it will be for a court appearance. Yesterday was a wonderful day, the return of hope, truth, justice and the American way!
Trip Log
Took about three tubs of old newspapers down to animal control yesterday. We do this on a regular basis and they were really happy to see them as they were about out of material to line the cages. The weather continues to be cool which for some unknown reason really makes us tired.
Craig and Janet came up on Monday to launch the rocket. We went up the The Villages polo fields where there is an enormous amount of open space. Alas, we were unsuccessful after many attempts and don't know for sure if it was the old engines, the starters or the batteries.
Craig brought me a rocket when he and Janet came up for Christmas Eve and I finally found some time to build it. I wasn't going to bother to paint it but had some leftover spray paint and while it isn't perfect it doesn't look too bad.
Got a drone for Christmas but it has been pretty windy and my first few attempts, while successful and non eventful, were pretty hairy in the wind. The wind has settled a bit and I am feeling more comfortable so I have flown it a couple of times off the backyard and, today, from the driveway.
The second of 4 new bridges opened the other day So we took a long golf cart ride this morning over the newly opened Brownwood bridge, around some new southern villages, back across the Chitty Chatty bridge, stopped at the Wal Mart market for some milk and necessary leftover ham sandwich fixins'
Today we celebrated 51 years of marriage and are looking forward to many more happy years. I golfed with the guys this morning and Alesa and I played water volleyball this afternoon. It was in the 40s this morning but we dressed warm and the sun and the lack of wind made it comfortable.
Had a great Christmas Eve with Craig and Janet and then the family Christmas Eve zoom. The only downer was that Michael's family's gift from us is already 8 days late and still piled up at the Philadelphia post office.
Waiting for Craig and Janet to arrive, looking forward to tonight's Zoom Christmas Eve and preparing goodies. After some minor cooking prep chores I walked the yard and greeted passing neighbors. We still have tomatoes growing, peas blooming and even a peach starting.
When we checked in for golf on Monday the starter said, "I know a Eugene Fales". Turns out he was a friend of Connie's and was at Eugene's wedding. Had a couple follow us home the other night because they saw my "Erie Boy" license plate.
