Trip Log

March 23, 2020

Been eating peas out of the garden for a few days now, the tomato plants are doing well and Alesa transplanted a few 'volunteer' pepper plants from the compost pile. A lot of peaches on the tree and we have a few lemons that look like they are going to make it.

Semi annual blood test at the VA on Wednesday. Next Wednesday they will be doing my oncology appointment over the phone. Got the Explorer tires installed on Thursday. They told me I was lucky because they were told to shut down the operation and I was the last customer.

March 17, 2020

The Villages has shut down everything but the pools and the golf courses. They shut down water volleyball yesterday. Looks like the taxes will get done early this year.

March 14, 2020

Alesa and I were going to skip the tournament this year but at the last minute they needed to fill a foursome so I obliged but skipped the dinner.

March 11, 2020

Played sand volleyball again last Tuesday but not yesterday since we had an Erie Club meeting and continue with water volleyball every day. We had a few cool days but it is getting warmer.

March 2, 2020

Been a little cold and windy the last few days which made water volleyball a little tough. Alesa even skipped a day after freezing the day before. Got up to 78 today and a little more comfortable getting out of the water.

February 22, 2020

Jim & Mary Claire Brown arrived in Florida the other day and are staying with Mary Claire's brother Fred and his wife Kathy Dudenhoefer in Claremont before visiting Jim's sister in Deland. Today, after the Erie club board Meeting we met with the four of them in Mt.

February 20, 2020

Ronnie & Denny Marshall are in a condo near Disney and we went to Craig and Janet's yesterday and all six of us headed into Tampa for lunch and a short walk. We went to the "Armature Works" where they have a food court under one roof and we all got what we wanted and had a nice lunch.

February 17, 2020

Jeff had a business meeting in Clearwater and arrived here on Thursday night to spend the weekend with us and flew home on Sunday afternoon. Alesa has had some pain in her right shoulder so she had an MRI and met with an orthopedic surgeon this morning.

February 12, 2020

Our counters were scheduled to be installed on the 25th but we received a call yesterday asking if we would be around today and, if so, would we like to have your counters installed.
