3.1416 The Erie Club March meeting was Friday night and we had the "Blues Brothers" perform. It was a fun show and everyone had a good time. Club attendance continues to be lower than expected probably due to covid. We had 94 people Friday night.

40s at night and 90s during the day or 60s both day and night, that's this spring in Florida. 2 weeks with no rain and 2 weeks with nothing but rain but we just work around it. Our puppy duties ended on the 4th and, just like grandkids, you are happy to see them come and happy to see them go.

The floor installers (2) arrived early Monday and finished the master bedroom and closet and were all but finished in the guest bedroom. They remove and reinstall the baseboard molding and will let the touch-up paint dry overnight and move everything back in the morning.

We are puppy sitting for the neighbors (The Ladies) as they are on a cruise. Miles is a 17-week-old Akita puppy and is settling in relatively well. We are keeping busy feeding, walking and watching him. He is fairly well behaved and Alesa can get her fill of puppy-belly rubbing.

It is February 22, 2022. better known as 'twosday'. Alesa had an Echo and a stress Echo last week at the cardiologist's and everything is fine. No reason for the tests other than it has been a while, if ever.

We have been busy but not very active although we try to take a walk every day. Sometimes just to the mail station and around the neighborhood and a few times on hiking trails. Alesa is just done with her cataract surgery follow-ups and I am still nursing a sore shoulder.

Hope you had a happy Groundhog Day. Alesa had her brother, Craig, build a sofa table for us and he brought it up on Wednesday. It turned out very nice and this is where she spends much of her time now. When she is not cleaning that is.

Alesa had her second cataract surgery on Wednesday and everything went well. She is very happy with the results now that both eyes are done. She can read without glasses and should be back to normal activity in a week or so.

I'll catch up with pictures on past posts. Been cool here for a few days, 28 yesterday morning and 48 this morning but it warms up quickly with the sunlight and hardly any wind. We get to wear jeans, long sleeve shirts and sweaters for a change.

The blog has lost its connection to Flickr, where I store all of my pictures. So, I will add pictures to new posts when that connection issue gets resolved. Alesa will be having cataract surgery on her left eye on Wednesday.
