Bridget had her tonsils out this morning and is doing fine. She is at home and sleeping. We took Danielle's car to Sam's because the passenger side rear wheel had a vibration. They balanced and rotated all four wheels.
Trip Log
Today was a back-to-work day for Jeff and Danielle so we went to 'Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch'. It was a very nice ecological park highlighting multiple ecosystems with many hiking trails around multiple ponds.
Another day of rest with clothes shopping, football, corn hole and relaxing by the pool. After leftovers for breakfast and dinner I made sweet potato fries to go with a Smith's hot dog dinner.
Arizona State won the Territorial Cup today by defeating Arizona, 38 to 15. We drove to Bailey's apartment this morning and took a walking tour of the ASU campus and enjoyed of the pre-game activities. Bailey was able to get enough student guest passes for us.
Today was leftover day and we took full advantage and ate a number of meals. This morning we went boot shopping then to Total Wine for Oban, Jameson and moonshine. We ended the day by binge watching season 1 of 'Only Murders in the Building'.
Jeff prepared and started cooking the turkey and, of course, we watched the Macy's parade, the dog show and all the football games. Bailey went back to school to pick up his girlfriend, Mikayla. We started dinner at 2 with a mimosa toast. The meal was excellent with some great family time.
Today was spent pretty much getting ready for Thanksgiving. The kids came home from school and there was a lot of time spent making and decorating Christmas cookies. Danielle and Bailey went with Jeffrey and Alesa to play pickleball. We all watched the movie 'Finch' this evening.
Shopped while Jeff & Danielle worked this morning. We biked over to pickleball this afternoon with Jeff and picked up a fourth and played a half a dozen games before biking home. After cooling off in the pool and eating dinner we walked the dogs and checked out the Christmas lights.
While Danielle and Jeff worked this morning, Alesa and I took a bike ride around the block. It was about a 5 mile ride and we stopped to check out the activity as they are building the groundwater recharge ponds in the southwest corner of the block.
Sunday is a day of rest so we are taking advantage and just watching football with some shopping and Wii interspersed.
